The sincerity and joy of the village people add a new dimension to the hustle and bustle here. Every year, this Rash Yatra grows little by little, and people from many areas come to see this annual fair.

Kulgachi village is located 8.5 kilometers away from Krishnanagar, the district headquarters of Nadia. It takes 18 minutes to reach this place by road from Krishnanagar on a straight road. This road is also quite picturesque, with fields on both sides and the national highway in the middle. Kulgachi Bazaar is a rural market. Most of the locals are farmers.Kulgachi has been a Ras since 2003.At first, some local youths started a rasmela in this local market. Later, people from the area and nearby villages started helping in this reduction fair. As time goes by, this local festival of hustle and bustle has become more and more crowded. Although this reduction fair started with a very small budget at first, inspired by the enthusiasm of the people of the area, the budget gradually increased.

This mela offers a glimpse into the rural spirit of West Bengal. It's a time for families to come together, for friends to reconnect, and for everyone to share in the joy of the celebration.
