How to turn a Desert into a Grassland ?

Is it ever possible to turn a desert into a grassland? 

The dissertation is a real and big problem. Today, we have faced climate change, global warming, and extreme water condition. We can save our earth by planting trees which will also help to stop dissertation. But is it really possible to turn a desert into grassland or forest? 

Trying to urn a desert into a grassland 

Several countries have already done this. China, Israel, and several Arab countries have been working on such large projects. Although Israel and the Arab world have worked on small projects, China has created vast expanses of forest, farmland, and large grasslands for grazing. In fact, what China has done is wipe out some small deserts from the map of history. Just look at the pictures below to see how the desert has been greened.
