Christ's tomb to is supposed to be buried in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre from where he resurrected. This makes Jerusalem, one of the holiest places of Christianity. Millions of people visit these sides and pay their respect. the Church of the Holy, Sepulcher told, to of Christianity's holiest Sites. Calvary, considered the place of Jesus crucifixion, and the empty tomb where he said to have been buried and resurrected. Jerusalem is the third holiest site for Muslims, after Mecca and Medina. It contains Dome of the Rock, which is believed to be built 688, and has one of the orders Islamic architecture. This is the place from where Muslims believe the prophet Mohammed, ascended to Heaven, along with Angel After doing a Night Journey from Mecca. However, some Islamic scholars believe that it was not this Dome but Al-Aqsa mosque the mosque located in other part of Jerusalem. Muslims initially used to pray towards this direction before Muhammad changed the direction to Mecca. They're worthless both indications, for in Jerusalem, and Muslims around the world. The Dome of the Rock Also contains the foundation stone, which is a holy site for Jews. According to Judaism, it is a spiritual Junction Between Heaven and Earth, which is also known as holy of the problems. It is believed that the world will expanded from this tomb. There are legends regarding Noah, Jacob, Adam and Abraham associated with these Stones Jews, do not enter the holy of the holies. And they believe that presence of God still exists.
