WhatsApp has been allowed by NCPI to provide WhatsApp pay service to its user.
Now in new update WhatsApp user can use online transaction through WhatsApp.

HOW TO ACTIVE WHATSAP PAYMENT:

1.  
WhatsApp
recently push a new WhatsApp update for almost all android device, if your
device still not get WhatsApp update you need to update you WhatsApp app.

2.  
After
completing new update open your WhatsApp, now WhatsApp Payment option is on your WhatsApp. You can find it on upper right three dot corner under WhatsApp Payment section.

3. Now click on WhatsApp Payment option and you have to add your bank, make sure your banking number and WhatsApp no should be same. 

4. You will get a verification sms and after verifying now you can make payment through WhatsApp Payment. 

5. You can find and sand money to your common friend by clicking on payment option down right corner.

Paytm, Phonepay, Googlepay has been popular in our country for a long time, and to become one of them WhatsApp pay has to get a lot of competition in such situation. WhatApp has not yet become as popular as other payment methods. But no doubt WhatsApp is very popular  in India and it has that potential to become one of our favorite payment method.
